I. Account & Registration

To register, visit the Wave3 website and click the "Register" button. You can sign up using your Google or X (Twitter) account. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the registration process.

Currently, Wave3 supports sign-up only through Google or X. If you don't have either, you'll need to create a Google or X account to register for Wave3.

Wave3 Pro is a subscription-based service. We offer a 7-day free trial for you to explore all Pro features. After the trial, a monthly or annual subscription is required for continued access.

We offer two subscription plans:
Monthly Plan: $50 per month
Annual Plan: $500 per year (save 2 months compared to monthly). You can choose your preferred plan during the registration process.

Simply sign up for Wave3 Pro. The 7-day free trial automatically begins upon successful registration. You will need to select a monthly or annual plan and enter payment information, but you will not be charged until after the 7-day trial period ends. You can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Subscription Dashboard. Access the dashboard via the Side Menu -> Account -> Subscription Dashboard. There, you will find a link to manage billing and cancel your subscription on the Stripe website.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards supported by Stripe in your region.

Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Double-check that you are using a valid Google or X account for signup. If the issue persists, please contact our support team at Support or at support@wave3.ca (please include the email you used to sign up with).

II. Trading Profile

Your Trading Profile is crucial for personalizing your Wave3 experience. It allows Wave3 to filter market data and highlight opportunities that align with your specific trading style, asset preferences, and risk tolerance. Completing your profile unlocks the full potential of Wave3's personalized trend scanning.

Don't worry if you're not completely certain about all your preferences initially. Start by selecting your general trading style and asset interests. You can always revisit and refine your Trading Profile later as you gain more experience with Wave3 and your trading evolves.

Yes, you can modify your Trading Profile at any time. Access it via the Side Menu -> My Trading Profile. We encourage you to update your profile as your trading style or market focus changes.

While you can still access Wave3 without a Trading Profile, you won't benefit from personalized market views and filtered results. The "Wave3 Mode" (Trading Profile filter) will not function effectively without a completed profile. We highly recommend completing it for the best experience.

III. Scanner & Screener

Both the Scanner and Screener help you find trending markets visually.
Scanner: Focuses on real-time trend identification within a selected timeframe (e.g., 5-minute, 15-minute charts). It's designed for finding current trending opportunities for active trading.
Screener: Focuses on market returns across different time periods (e.g., 1-day return, 1-week return). It's useful for understanding broader market momentum and comparing performance over different durations.

In the Heat Map view:
Green Shades: Indicate bullish (upward trending) markets. The darker the green, the stronger the bullish trend.
Red Shades: Indicate bearish (downward trending) markets. The darker the red, the stronger the bearish trend.
Pulsating Tiles: Markets with exceptionally strong trends (either bullish or bearish) will have pulsating tiles in the Heat Map view.

Pulsating tiles highlight markets with particularly strong momentum and trending strength. This can be useful for quickly identifying markets exhibiting significant price action.

Each tile displays:
Ticker Symbol: The market's unique identifier.
Current Price: The latest price of the market.
24-Hour Return (%): The percentage price change over the last 24 hours.

Click on the Ticker Name: Opens a Market Information Modal with detailed market data.
Double-Tap on a Tile: Opens a "Story Card" (which is the same as the Market Information Modal) providing market information and an integrated chart.

"Stories" mode (activated by the red "Stories" button) displays market results as swipeable cards, one market at a time. Each "Story Card" provides key market information and a chart. Use Stories to quickly review charts and absorb information on individual markets in a streamlined format. Swipe left or right (or use "Next" button) to move between market stories.

The Scanner offers timeframes of: 5-minute, 15-minute, 30-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour, 1-Day, and 1-Week. Select a timeframe to view market trends relevant to that period.

Market data is updated in near real-time. The refresh rate may vary slightly depending on the exchange and data source, but Wave3 is designed to provide you with current market information for active trading.

IV. Filters & Customization

Click the "Filters" button above the Heat Map or Table View. This will open the Filters menu. From there, you can select various filters such as:
Preset Market Filters: Quickly apply pre-configured filters like "Top 100," "Gainers," "Oversold," etc.
Custom Filters: Set your own criteria for Market Cap, Volume, Return, Volatility, and more. Apply your desired filters and the market view will update to reflect your selections.

Preset Market Filters are pre-configured filter sets designed to quickly identify specific types of markets. Examples include "Top 100," "Trending Up," "Gainers," "Most Volatile," "Oversold," etc. They are a fast way to narrow down your market view based on common trading strategies or market conditions.

Once you have configured your desired filters, click the "Save Filter" button (above the bottom navigation bar). You'll be prompted to name your filter set. Saved filters can be accessed and reapplied at any time via the "Saved Market Filters" button.

Yes! You can combine multiple filters (preset and custom) to create highly specific market views tailored to your precise needs. Experiment with different filter combinations to discover powerful market setups.

"Wave3 Mode" (toggled by the "Wave3" button at the top right) is a powerful feature that filters market views based on your saved Trading Profile. When activated, Wave3 will only display markets that match the criteria you defined in your profile. This helps you laser-focus on your preferred trading setups and eliminate irrelevant market noise.

If "Wave3 Mode" is active and no markets are displayed, it means that currently, no markets fully match the criteria defined in your Trading Profile. This is normal! It indicates that the market conditions may not be aligning with your specific trading style at this moment. You can either:
Deactivate "Wave3 Mode" to view the broader market and apply other filters.
Review and potentially adjust your Trading Profile to be slightly broader or more sensitive to current market conditions.

V. General Usage & Troubleshooting

Use the "Search" button (magnifying glass icon) in the bottom shortcut bar. Enter the market name or ticker symbol in the search field to quickly locate it.

Look for a star icon within Market Information Modals, Story Cards, or Table View rows. Click this icon to add the market to your personal Watchlist.

Access your Watchlist by clicking the "Watchlist" button in the bottom navigation bar.

The "Market Report" button (in the bottom shortcut bar) provides statistical summaries and key metrics for the markets currently displayed in your search results. This can give you a helpful overview of market conditions within your filtered view.

Click the "Full Screen" button (rectangle icon) in the bottom shortcut bar. This will expand the current view (website, Heat Map, or Table) to fill your entire screen, maximizing your viewing area.

The red "Clear" button (circle with X icon) in the bottom shortcut bar resets Wave3 to a clean slate. Clicking it will remove all currently applied filters, search parameters, and timeframe selections, returning you to the default market view.

Click the "Refresh" button (circular arrow icon) in the bottom shortcut bar to manually refresh the market data displayed in the current view. Data is also updated automatically in near real-time.
